Planning Future Alumni Tailgates or Get-Togethers?

If so, email us the details at webmaster.kappasigmawfu@gmail.com. We can post the date, time, location, etc. on this site, which will act as a central location for distributing the news of these events. We realize it is practically impossible to keep in touch with every brother as time passes, so let us make it easier for you to reach out to everyone by putting all of the events in one place. Events will be added as the new semester and Alumni Weekend approach, so stay posted!

Alumni Visits Chapter Meeting

Brother Daniel Townsend of the class of 1966 came to Wake Forest to speak to the current brothers during our Delta Omega Chapter meeting this past Monday. Daniel told us about his days as a Siggie back in the sixties and shared stories among several laughs. The brothers today often lose touch with the history and rich traditions of our chapter and so his visit was greatly appreciated. Daniel also gave us insight into how our chapter can continue to accomplish our goals of rekindling alumni relations and building our chapter.

We would like to extend an invitation for any Alumni to come join us during any of our weekly Chapter meetings to meet the current brothers of Delta Omega and share any stories or advice from your days as a Siggie. Our meetings take place at the Kappa Sigma Lounge on campus on Mondays during the school year, beginning at 6:00pm. Email our Grandmaster Matthew Tucker at tuckmw9@wfu.edu for anyone interested.

Project: Lounge Renovation

Brothers,

As you well know, our lounge is the center of our Greek experience at Wake Forest.  The Kappa Sigma lounge in particular holds a strong tradition, and remains one of the oldest and largest on campus. As of recent, it is beginning to show the wear and tear that comes from years of good times. Our current school code dictates that we cannot fix the lounge ourselves, but instead must contract through Wake Forest to have it renovated.  We have begun this process ourselves, but as you may imagine, it is very expensive and we need all the help we can get.  We would love for this lounge to represent the strong tradition that the Delta Omega Chapter holds, and for it be something our generation of brothers can give to future members. With this, we are looking for all the alumni support we can get. We sincerely hope you will pledge a donation to part of our future lounge. In addition, we hope we can use this new lounge to bring a Siggie reunion back to campus, bringing everying together in a place we are all proud to have been involved with.

You can see pictures of the current state of our lounge here.
